Illustrated Maps

Hand painted maps are one of my favourite things to illustrate, they are all completely personal to the person commissioning the painting and I love being able to tell the story of a relationship through illustration!

In the past I have illustrated maps for wedding invitations, first wedding anniversary gifts as well as for independent shopping guides.

Each location is individually hand painted in gouache or watercolour before being scanned and then laid out on Photoshop, working like this means that I can tweak things at various stages of the design process without having to start all over again!
